About High-Risk OB Care

We are the only maternal-fetal medicine center in the region offering complete pregnancy care, including preconception consults, comprehensive ultrasound exams, genetic counseling, total pregnancy management, when needed, delivery, and postpartum follow-up.

Why choose us

  • We are part of Memorial Health University Medical Center (MHUMC), which houses the region’s only Level III neonatal intensive care nursery for critically ill and/or premature newborns.
  • If your baby requires surgery or specialized medical care, MHUMC has pediatric surgeons and subspecialists available around the clock. And our maternal-fetal medicine specialists are available to you and your obstetrician 24/7.
  • Our comprehensive multiple gestation service – the only one of its kind in Southeast Georgia – provides the most advanced level of care to mothers who are carrying more than one baby. We work with you to try to reduce the risk of preterm delivery and prevent unnecessary hospitalizations. You will receive a personalized care plan that includes early and frequent prenatal visits, regular communication with our multiple gestation coordinator, nutrition counseling, and advanced ultrasound monitoring and fetal assessment.
  • We are affiliated with Mercer University School of Medicine. As part of an academic medical center, we use the latest research to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

Office visits

We are committed to providing a caring, comfortable and private environment for our patients. We allow one visitor per patient. With the sensitive information and exams provided, we do not allow visitors younger than 18 years old.
